Peat & Pearls Supper Club-October 25th

Peat & Pearls is a roving supper club that celebrates pride of place, love of neighbors and culinary storytelling in the American South. Started by T.S. Strickland as a passion project to celebrate local oystermen working tirelessly in his North Florida community. The series of dinners partnered chefs with specific oystermen and created a meal with the oyster at the center of the plate. Fast forward to a post(ish) COVID world and T. S. was ready to take his show on the road so he sought out chefs from small to medium sized cities throughout the southeast to take his supper club to the next level. In the Athens market, you will see our chef, Jessica Rothacker, providing a dinner in partnership with Creature Comforts at 6:30 on October 25th and an upcoming November dinner from Pete over at Puma Yu’s. This first quarter continues celebration of the oyster, and future dinners will highlight other key ingredients to the foodways of the American south. Take a look below for the menu and follow the link here to get your tickets today. One note about the dinner is that we will likely not be able to accommodate dietary restrictions or substitutions as we usually do due to the nature of the event. We apologize for the inconvenience.
