Chef Josh Aaron of The Savory Spoon in Jefferson is on to a new venture, Akademia: a brew pub to open this year here in Athens. Chef Joel Penn and Josh Aaron are partnering to pair some to die for food with Akademia’s debut beers alongside beers from one of our favorite local spots, The Southern Brewing Company.
