On Wednesday, October 15th, restaurants all over Athens will join in hosting Eat Local for Life, a benefit for AIDS Athens. Participating restaurants (including Heirloom) will donate 10% of the sales for the day to AIDS Athens, an organization that serves to address the needs of individuals infected and affected by HIV/AIDS through supportive services and to prevent the spread of the disease through education and outreach. You’ve got to eat anyway so why night dine out and help someone who needs it at the same time?
