Friday, February 3, 7:00-9:00 pm, Heirloom will be participating in the Grit-Off at ATHICA as a part of the Southern exhibit. Come out and taste grits from lots of Athens restaurants, enjoy some great southern art, and see a performance piece examining the connection between the HOPE scholarship and the GA lottery by Ted Kuhn.

Tuesday, February 14, 5:30-9:00 pm, Valentine’s Day. We will have a special 3-course price fix menu for all the love birds out there. A glass of sparkling wine and a small box of Little Cuckoo truffles are included. Dinner is $45 per person, and wine pairings are an additional $15. Reservations recommended. Don’t want to eat that much, or not in the mood for a date situation? We will have the menu available at the bar a la carte with a special appearance by our All the Way burger and Polk burger. Sunday, February 19, 5:00-8:00pm, Taste of Athens. Join Heirloom and many other restaurants, beer, & wine distributors for this wonderful event at the Classic Center. Lots of delicious food and beverages will be available for your sampling and all of the proceeds go to benefit Community Connection of Northeast Georgia, a non-profit organization whose mission is to nurture, develop, and maintain information & systems which empower individuals and communities to access needed resources and services. Some of their programs include an information helpline for community members in need, a network to connect volunteers to non-profits that need their help, and a non-profit development center.
Tuesday, March 6, 6:00-7:00, Cheese & Wine Tasting with Nature’s Harmony Farm. Taste 3 delicious cheeses from Nature’s Harmony Farm, meet Tim Young, the farmer behind the deliciousness, and taste several wines and maybe even a beer that we think are perfect for serving with these cheeses. More details to come.
New Belgium Beer Dinner-$60
New Belgium Brewery is an employee-owned brewery out of Fort Collins, CO. No, they are not local, but they are a wonderful company with amazing beers, and they share many of the same values that we have here at Heirloom. Their core values include producing world class beer, kindling social, environmental, and cultural change, being stewards for the environment, helping their employees lead balanced lives, cultivating a learning environment, establishing trust and authentic relationships, and having fun. We see nothing to disagree with there. In addition, their new spring seasonal beer, Dig, which will be featured during our dinner, has been created in celebration of sustainable agriculture. Chip Newell, our regional New Belgium representative, will be with us to talk about each beer. We know this will be a great event, and we look forward to seeing you there. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions at the time of reservation.
