				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Again this year we offered <strong>Thanksgiving Pies &amp; Sides</strong> to be picked up Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving. If you missed out, or would like to get more info for the December holidays, sign up for our <strong><a href="http://www.heirloomathens.com/newsletter-signup/">newsletter</a></strong>. This year we offered cornbread stuffing, potato kale gratin, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, mocha pecan pie, apple streusel pie, pumpkin pie, gingerbread bundt cakes &amp; flourless chocolate cakes.</p>
<p>As of Monday, November 19th, <strong>we will no longer be serving weekday breakfast.</strong> We appreciate all of you who have joined us in the morning in the past, and we hope you will join us in the future for lunch, dinner, or weekend brunch. Don&#8217;t forget, we serve brunch on Saturdays &amp; Sundays 9:30 &#8211; 2:30.</p>
<p>Heirloom will be <strong>closed on Thursday &amp; Friday, November 22nd &amp; 23rd</strong> so that our employees can spend the holiday with their families. We will be open normal hours starting Saturday, November 24th.</p>
<p>Heirloom will host a <strong>holiday market on Sunday, December 2nd, from 4:00-7:00 pm</strong>. Sip, snack, and shop with us. Our bar will be open and we will have hand held foods available for easy noshing while shopping. Peruse the wears of local artisans and keep it in the community this holiday season.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t forget, Heirloom is available for your holiday gathering, whether you want to get together with friends for a casual dinner, or take the whole office out, Heirloom wants to help make your time together special. Call us or email jessica@heirloomathens.com to discuss your options.</p>
<p><strong>Tuesday, December 11th, at 6:00 pm, we will be holding a Holiday Wine Tasting</strong>. <p style="text-align: center;">Join Heirloom, The National, The Grit, Ted&#8217;s Most Best, Trappeze Kumquat Mae Bakery and Cafe, Porterhouse Grill, Square One Fish Co. and other local restaurants for The State Botanical Garden&#8217;s plant collections fundraiser. Chefs will celebrate the cusines of the Mediterranean, Middle East and Spanish America.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">&#8220;This event will be completely casual,&#8221; said Jeannette Coplin, director of horticulture and grounds at the State Botanical Garden. &#8220;We want people to enjoy the collections, food, music and each other while showing their support of our gardens.&#8221;</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Proceeds will be used to expand and maintain the garden&#8217;s plant collections, which are not only educational but inspire visitors to try new plants and plant combinations that are tested in Georgia&#8217;s climate as part of home landscapes.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Northeast Sales &amp; Distributing and Terrapin will be providing wine and beer pairings. Live music will be performed by BotJam, a crowd favorite award winner at the 2011 Athens Business Rocks contest.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">$30 for great company, wonderful food, wines and beers.</p>
